Kent is a county surrounded by beautiful pebble beaches perfect for a beach wedding. I took inspiration from the colours and textures of those pebbles on Whitstable Sea Front, mixing the neutral colours with strong metallics and organic textures.

I love putting together a styled shoot, its the perfect time to really express your style. I adore the bold and dramatic make up styling that is around everywhere ay the minute and of course most brides wouldn't walk up the aisle with that much glitter on their face but the addition of a glitter station at your evening reception could mean all your guests end up as bright as the glitter ball. It is a stunningly striking look and I was desperate to incorporate it into this bold styled shoot.

For the floral installations I envisioned organic and free shapes of arrangements with pampas grass, raw cotton, sandy roses and deep burgundy foliage to compliment the soft and romantic bridal dresses and a sharp navy suit with an open collar to keep the style relaxed.

It was important the brides style was bold and dramatic with a soft side, inspired by the sea, bohemian plaited hair styles with soft flowing curls and the perfect contrast to striking make up.

The table setting was a continuation, with a rough wooden palette as a low table, with a soft fabric runner, an abundance of cushions and throws for seating with organic style crockery. The cakes were a reflection of the setting and theme, with pebbles, textures and metallic touches. The Stationery was the finished element to compliment and bring together the entire theme, with soft and textured papers, agate slices with rough edges and a soft and flowing fabric table plan handing on beautiful muslin.
