Wednesday 24th May will mark my 3rd anniversary with my amazing husband and what better way to celebrate than to write a little blog about our own wedding. The planning process was the best year of my life, it was relaxed and enjoyable and I strongly feel that is how every bride should feel.

Having worked with Samie Lee Photography before she mentioned wanting to do a styled shoot involving animal masks and I was inspired. I adore Samie’s photography style and it was only right for us to work together on this shoot. We were inspired by a bohemian and natural vibe but stumbled across these beautifully angular and geometric woodland animal masks and a boho chic styled shoot was born from there. 

Rich and opulent pheasant feathers, warm golds, berry reds and navy blues were the inspiration for this beautiful and magnificent styled shoot. I wanted to create the image of a winter frost settling on beautiful berries.

There is something incredibly romantic about a couple in a field in their wedding clobber and a pair of wellies. As a real country bumpkin I wanted to style a wedding shoot around a farmyard wedding and what better place that the beautiful farm I am surrounded by as soon as I open my bedroom curtains!
