As I look ahead to 2026, I am delighted to expand my full planning services beyond the South East and into a place that feels very much like home: Yorkshire. While I am firmly rooted as a wedding planner in Kent, Yorkshire has been an anchor in my life for many years. With family on the East Coast, close to Beverley, I spend a great deal of time there. That time has shaped a genuine affection for the landscape, the people and the pace of life.
It feels the natural next step to bring my marquee wedding expertise to a region that lends itself so well to private estate and at home celebrations.

Why Yorkshire Is Perfect for a Marquee Wedding
Yorkshire’s charm lies in its contrasts. Quiet coastal villages, rolling countryside, historic market towns, wide open fields and stately homes all offer distinctive backdrops for a celebration. It is a county with space, character and atmosphere, exactly what a marquee wedding thrives on.
Whether it is a sailcloth marquee overlooking farmland, a traditional pole tent in a walled garden or a clearspan structure beside a private lake, Yorkshire’s varied landscape allows couples to create a celebration that feels truly personal. The scenery does half the work, the marquee does the rest.
A Natural Extension of What I Already Do
My work as a marquee wedding planner in Kent has always been centred on at home weddings, building a venue from the ground up, designing a layout that fits the land and weaving in the details that make the day feel effortless for guests. The process in Yorkshire is exactly the same: bespoke, thoughtful and detail driven, with time spent on site assessing ground conditions, access routes, power needs, privacy, views and seasonal considerations.
The difference for me is simply geographical. The principles remain the same and the standard remains high.

Why I Am Expanding to Yorkshire
Alongside my personal connection to the region, I have always believed that Yorkshire has enormous potential for the kind of celebrations I specialise in. Many families have land, gardens or private spaces perfect for hosting a marquee wedding but lack the support to turn them into a fully functioning venue.
The demand is increasing too. Couples are seeking a planner who understands both the aesthetic and the practicalities of a marquee build, from flooring and lighting to catering logistics and guest experience.
Offering full planning in Yorkshire allows me to serve couples looking for:
A bespoke marquee wedding on private land
A planner with extensive marquee expertise
Someone who understands both southern and northern event styles
A refined but relaxed approach
A planner who values family, place and meaningful connection

The Service Offering
From 2026, I will provide full planning for marquee weddings across Yorkshire, including the following areas:
Beverley and the East Riding
York and the surrounding villages
North Yorkshire including Helmsley, Harrogate and Ripon
West Yorkshire countryside estates
The Yorkshire Wolds and coastal locations
Couples can expect the same level of detail, discretion and personalised service I offer in Kent, delivered in a setting that means as much to me personally as it will to them.
Why This Matters for Couples
Choosing a wedding planner in Yorkshire who specialises in marquee events gives couples the reassurance that every logistical detail from generator placement to hard flooring is expertly handled. My own longstanding ties to the area also mean I understand the landscape and its practicalities, offering valuable local insight that supports decision making. It ensures the design is cohesive, understated and elegantly executed, without overwhelming the beauty of the landscape itself.
A marquee wedding is a blank canvas. Yorkshire provides the backdrop. My role is to bring the two together seamlessly.
A New Chapter
Bringing full planning to Yorkshire feels like the start of something special. It is a chance to work more often in a place I genuinely love and to help couples create celebrations rooted in family, land and meaningful connection, the things that define both my work and the region itself.
If you are planning a marquee wedding in Yorkshire or looking for a wedding planner in Kent or the South East, I would love to speak with you.
